Architecture
BHA
Buchanan Hartley Architects Limited (BHA) was established as an architectural practice by Dean Buchanan in London in 1987. Matt Hartley became a director in 2008 and is now in sole charge since Dean's retirement in 2016. The practice has extensive experience in planning, design and construction across a diverse portfolio of projects. We are an RIBA Chartered Practice with an enthusiastic team of young and committed architects and designers whose ambition is to produce buildings of quality and distinction. Our focus in recent years has been on the residential and hospitality sectors, with projects concentrated in Central London.

Construction Management
BHC
We can offer our clients construction management, in addition to design, services if the project procurement route requires this input from a consultant. Such services include procurement of specialist package contractors, components, and finishing materials, construction planning, organisation, programming and managing. If required our input can continue into construction and be maintained until completion.

Interior Design
BHI
BHA has from the beginning offered interior design services to its clients and now describe this important area of our architectural work under the BHI banner. Both where appointed as architect and independently we have been delivering interior design services for clients, in some cases including furniture, product and graphic design including signage. We regularly assist clients with sourcing and procurement as well as design and specification. This area of our work has a close relationship with both our general architectural and construction management work.
