02 Jun 2019

BHA recently provided a team to participate in the one day cricket festival hosted by Global Hospitality Services on behalf of the IIG Trust.  This was an enjoyable occasion, blessed with fine weather, and all the better for being in the cause of fighting the scourge of modern slavery and people trafficking.  Well done to all those taking part and to our staff members who acquitted themselves very well and did better than last time in the competition!

Russian Banya, London

11 Jan 2019

BHA has won planning and listed building consent, from Westminster City Council, for the change of use and conversion of a former bank premises in Grosvenor Gardens into a specialist Russian steam bath known as a banya.  We are currently seeking approval for matters reserved by condition but construction work has already commenced on site.  Originally built as a large town house, the subject building was converted to a branch bank with offices over in the mid-twentieth century but more recently re-converted into apartments, leaving the former bank premises empty.  It will soon be transformed into the bath house to a design (by Natalia Interior Design Limited) that makes highly creative use of the former banking hall and secure vaults.  Opening in 2019!
