BHA was responsible for the design and construction of this new build 370 bedroom hotel and conference centre on an island site close to the City of London boundary.  We were involved from 2004 until completion in 2011, from pre-planning enquiries through to opening all the facilities within the hotel.  The superstructure consists of two towers (rising to 12 storeys)  and a central podium block, all clad in a mixture of brickwork and metal panels in a starkly modern style.  The three levels of basement contain a large column free conference/banqueting hall, spa and fitness suite including training pool and the above ground mezzanine level contains a suite of meeting rooms.
