BHA is working for Acorn Property Group on a mixed use development project in London’s Borough neighbourhood currently at planning stage. The site is a former public house that will deliver both commercial accommodation at ground floor level and new residential apartments on new upper floors, including a penthouse on the top level. The design employs the familiar features of a recognisable commercial base with large windows to ensure active frontage, an urbane main body of well-proportioned brickwork and fenestration and a set back roof-scape of bold geometry to add interest to the skyline.
